Pronounced oo-ga-dall. A special vatting that marries traditional methods with ageing the whisky in ex- Sherry casks.. Sweet, chewy and oily with a silky mouthfeel. The flavour is initially sweet revealing fruit cake and treacle.

Product Description
Between 1981 and 1989 the distillery sadly closed only returning to production of true Malt Whisky in 1997. Renowned as the peatiest and smokiest of all Islay Malts. Unquestionably the greatest distillery on earth. If perfection on the palate exists, this is it. as the whisky critic Jim Murray puts it.
